Wat ga je doen? technische job HSE Manager

You will support the implementation and ensure full compliance with local and company health and safety regulations/standards, promote health and safety culture across all employees and support the location in meeting its goals for (process) safety and health.
You will Identify and keep track of health and safety regulatory requirements, other compliance obligations and best practices and advise plant management.
You will assess and manage safety and health impacts and risks of the normal operations, changes and realistically possible emergency scenario.
You will prepare, develop, promote and continually improve the site health and safety management system (e.g. policies, procedures, processes) in line with regulatory requirements and identified risks.
You will support the development and the implementation of health and safety related programs and ensure location meets goals for continuous improvement as agreed with local and EU management.
Active collaboration with regulatory agencies.
You will identify training needs associated with safety aspects and provide training when necesarry.
You will monitor, evaluate and report health and safety performance and results related to operations, management systems and goals and suggest corrective/preventive actions to further improve the system.
You will control (outsourced) activities, e.g. risk assessments, exposure studies and case management
You will facilitate Incident investigations, risk assessments and problem solving efforts.
You will organize, coordinate/conduct and report internal and external audits and assessments.
You report to the Plant Manager.

Wat verwachten wij van jou? technische job HSE Manager

You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in occupational Health and Safety sciences, or other related field.
3+ years of experience in Safety (and Health) management, preferably experience in food and feed production.
Qualified internal auditor (External accreditation body.
Strong problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills, with a results focused approach.
Strong communication skills and an excellent team player.
Fluent in English and Dutch.
General knowledge of software applications.
