Mechanical design of the next generation of products (sheet metal, precision mechanics, linear guides, motors, ...)
Make cost effective designs in 3D (Solid Works)
Building prototypes (hands-on)
Create BOM's and set-up cost calculations
Coordinate the activities with the embedded software development team and application developers in India (cross-functional)
Test, troubleshoot, enhance and qualify the product according to the relevant international standards
Create manufacturing guidelines and assist with the creation of work instructions for installation
Assist the pilot production in Belgium, technology transfer abroad during scale-up
Prepare, implement and superintend the quality control plans and associated procedures

Wat verwachten wij van jou? technische job Mechanical Design Engineer (Mechatronics)

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Electromechanical engineering
You have minimum 5 years of experience in a design and development environment of a larger company
You have experience with mechatronics (precision mechanics, lineair guides, electronics, ...)
You have a good experience with SolidWorks (3D) and MS Office
Experience with DFMEA is a plus
You are fluent in English. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus!
Be able to travel occasionally (worldwide - 10%)
