As Manager Mechanical Engineering, you will be leading and supporting the Team Leaders of the Mechanical Engineering department.
You ensure the correct implementation, execution and quality of the different processes. You identify opportunities to improve them.
You define the needed road maps for Mechanical Engineering and translate these to the different teams from (Mechanical Engineering department).
You closely work together with different departments (quality, project management, ...) and see to a good workflow.
You will be responsible for a good communication flow within and between the different teams.
Responsible for the departments budget and a good people management.
You will report to the Director of R&D.

You are an Industrial Engineer with specialization in (electro)mechanics or you are equal by experience.
You have a thorough knowledge and experience with mechanics and dynamics, within a production (Automotive) environment.
You are a strong team player and have excellent people management skills.
You have very good communication skills and good knowledge of English.
You are good in reporting results. You have a goal-oriented and analytical mindset.
