For our partner, a global biopharma company (Region: Wavre), we are currently looking for a Senior Automation Engineer.

As Senior Automation Engineer, you are responsible for the technical support of global automation projects for upgrading different applications (SCADA, Particles & Environment monitoring systems, Serialization & aggregation, Automatic backup & versioning control).

Your main tasks include;

Perform a market analysis and benchmarking to identify the proper solution for each application.
Build a testing environment for the identified solution(s) to properly test it.
Work closely together with different stakeholders (vendors, IT, OT, data management, ...).
Review the design specification documents (SDS, FDS, HDS, ...) as well as the related IT documents to the application (DRP, SP, ...).
Work with both the Automation CAPEX PMO and Team to assure the proper planning and execution of the projects.
Identify and escalate any associated risk to project technical exectution.

Wat verwachten wij van jou? technische job Senior Automation Engineer

5-7 years hands-on experience with automation projects in the pharma industry
Languages: English - Fluent (oral and written) // French is a plus
Good knowledge of OT industrial Automation Systems in general (in particular: Wonderware Archestra, Siemens & Allen Bradley PLCs)
Highly effective communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work in a high complex matrix environment
