Systems Engineer

As Systems Engineer you ensure the transparent and constructive collaboration between the different technology departments (mechanical, controls, software, hydraulic, etc) in R&D. You coordinate the development process and you define the system architecture together with the project management. You set priorities and you define the product requirements on a multi-disciplinary level in order to design and develop a working, robust and reliable fully functioning product. 

• You are an Industrial Engineer with specialization in (Electro)mechanics and have +7 years of experience in Systems or Controls Engineering. Experience in the Automotive industry is considered to be a plus.
• You have knowledge good knowledge of FMEA.
• You have knowledge of 1D Simulation packages (Matlab/Simulink, MapleSim, ...)
• Knowledge of functional safety, ISO 26262, reliability or NVH is an asset.
• You have very good communication skills and good knowledge of English.
• You are good in reporting results. You have a goal-oriented and analytical mindset.
